James founded our first site - Cushions Direct. His primary innovation in 2003 was to provide a great range of cushions in one place. The success was immediate and the store continued to grow over time, eventually selling a range of furniture, parasols and even garden games.
Early in 2008 James wondered why the success of Cushions-Direct couldn't be transferred into other niche areas on the web. And so the idea for Stores-Direct was born.

Scott started working for Cushions Direct in April 2007. Originally in charge of operations, he spent time talking to customers and sorting out orders. In early 2008 during discussions with James it was decided that Scott should spend his time developing new sites and improving the customer experience within the sites already in operation.. Laura is the newest addition to the Stores Direct team. She is extremly knowledgeable of the products we sell, looks after order processing and ensures customers recieve the attention they deserve. Paul has been with the team since 2003, and initially developed the first Cushions Direct website. Since then, Paul has been an integral part of the team helping with the design, look, feel, structure and simplicity of our current site. Paul is extremly knowledgeable in web development and SEO - which helps us to be found on search engines like google.
Julian has been part of the team since 2003 and manages company finance. He ensures refunds are made on time and transactions are completed. Jade ensures that all orders are sent to the picking and packing department on time and has also been part of the team since 2003. Jade is also knowledgeable about the products we sell and is extremly competent at dealing with customer queries.
Neil is another member of the team who has been with us since 2003, he looks after our warehouse and takes great pride in making sure that the warehouse and packing area is kept in an immaculate manner. This level of care and attention coupled with a real drive to get orders out, creates a perfect working environment - and allows us to acheive the great standard of speed, in order to door service.

Stefan ensures that orders get from the Warehouse to the Courier, specially chosen for each individual order. Communicating oftenly with other members of staff, to achieve maximum levels of output - Stefan manages to get the orders out of our door, and to the front of yours.
